Reading: Variety of Welcome Back to School Stories
Spelling: get, him, not, ran, bed, cup, dig, top, had, leg, please, after, always, sit, were
Language: Purpose of reading and
writing
Math: Number relationships
Social Studies: Class and school rules
Homework:
Monday: Review spelling words for our
spelling test on Friday.
Tues: Look over spelling words.
Wed: Look over spelling words. Find your 3 favorite spelling words and write a sentence for each one. Please return these 3 sentences to school.
Thurs: Look over spelling words. Complete and return the math counting page.
Sept. 3 No school
Sept. 4-21 Testing for TEMI and DRA2

Summer
Can you believe summer is almost over?
I have been busy this summer getting ready to present at the Hunt County Technology Conference coming up next week at AC Williams Elementary. This year I am doing a presentation on Pinterest. I will be showing other teachers all of the great things you can find there to use in the classroom. I have also been busy getting our classroom ready for the new school year! I always enjoy setting up my room and making it just perfect for my new class.
