What we are doing this week:


Reading: Abraham Lincoln
Spelling: good, from, walk, wish, work, faster, jumping, helpful, slowly, dislike, unable, remake, priceless, walked,
singing
Language: Adjectives
Math: Finish data representation, start multi-digit addition & subtraction: 
Social Studies: Where Others Live

Homework

Monday: Read aloud for 15 minutes, start Sunshine Math
Tues: Read aloud for 15 minutes.  Put spelling words in ABC order & write 2 more times.
Wed: Read aloud for 15 minutes.  Write a sentence for each of your 3 favorite vocabulary words and return.
Thurs: Read aloud for 15 minutes.  Complete and return the math page to school.

Language: Verbs (past, present, future)
Math: Finish number lines, start data representation
Social Studies: Where I live

Homework:
Monday: Read aloud for 15 minutes, start Sunshine Math

Wed: Read aloud for 15 minutes.  Write a sentence for each of your 3 favorite vocabulary words and return.

Reading: The Bremen Town Musicians
Spelling: all, ask, tell, buy, call, time, rope, tube, name, theme, escape, retire upgrade, reptile, include
Language: Capitalization of proper nouns, months, days of week
Math: Number lines
Science: Comparing motion (patterns of movement)

Homework
Write title of stories in your homework folder.
Mon: Read aloud for 15 minutes.  Begin the Sunshine Math paper that is due on Friday.
Tues: Read aloud for 15 minutes, write the name of the story in the homework folder. Put spelling words in ABC order  and  write them  1 more time.
Wed: Read aloud for 15 minutes, write  the name of the story in the homework folder.  Write a sentence for each of your 3 favorite vocabulary words.
Thurs: Read aloud for 15 minutes, write the name of the story in the homework folder.  Complete and return the math worksheet.
