Parts of a Plant with Adobe Spark Video

It’s that time of year when we’re all excited about Spring and we are learning all about plants! This year we did a few fun and easy activities while studying plant parts and functions.

We planted flowers to watch them grow over time.  We discussed all of the things our plants would need to grow and be healthy.

We also did an experiment with paper towels and food coloring showing how plants feed themselves from the ground up.

We learned about the parts of the plant and their jobs throughout the week.  As a culminating activity, we created Adobe Spark Videos illustrating the parts of the plant.  Adobe Spark Video is a great way for students to create a quick and easy video in the classroom!   First, we drew pictures of plants.  Next, we labeled each part and loaded those pictures into Adobe Spark Video.  Finally, we recorded audio telling the function of each plant part!

We had a great time learning about the parts of a plant and creating our Adobe Spark Videos!
